About This Role

The Payroll Compliance team is responsible for mitigating risks related to payroll functions. We collaborate closely with each Payroll team to ensure payroll processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Our goal is to identify areas for improvement and training needs, supporting the Payroll department as business needs evolve and grow.

What You'll Do
  • Monitor, manage, and respond to Form I-9 or related inquiries from a dedicated inbox; ensure Form I-9s are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Oversee open E-Verify cases through system dashboards to ensure proper resolution.
  • Conduct monthly audits of employee work authorization and update records accordingly.
  • Address internal and external audit inquiries promptly.
  • Develop and deliver training to internal resources on relevant processes.
  • Assist in facilitating the Alternative Procedure process when necessary.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.

  • Excellent analytical skills and resourcefulness in problem-solving.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism.
  • 3+ years of experience in Payroll/HR & Form I-9/E-Verify.
  • Understanding of USCIS policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
