Job TrainingIn Washington State, to become a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT), individuals must complete a 40‑hour Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) training program covering measurement, assessment, ethics, and skill acquisition. We assist you with this process and ensure you are prepared to work one‑on‑one with our clients.
Job Duties- Perform ABA Therapy for children with autism in homes, schools, and at our center locations.
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and record data on the child’s progress and behavior.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions when needed.
- Holds a current license from WA State as a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT).
- Passionate about helping children.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Reliable transportation.
- Current Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) License.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Some college hours or a degree in a related field (preferred).
- Experience in childcare, education, or other child‑related fields (preferred).
- Potential for advancement after 6 months with an RBT certification.
- Opportunity to enter our Supervised Fieldwork program to become a L‑BA, BCaBA, or BCBA after 6 months.
