Job Requirements- Provides high quality medical care for hospital patients.
- Participate in chart audits and Quality assurance activities.
- Facilitates transition of care at discharge.
- Communicates health status and treatment plan to patient, family and hospital staff.
- Documents information completely for patient care and billing purposes.
- Conducts educational activities in required curriculums as assigned.
- Teaches medical students, residents and others in graduate health education programs.
- Attendance at interdisciplinary or nursing rounds.
- Daily communication with the team caring for the patient.
- Keeps abreast of the latest developments in field, both academically and through applied skill.
- Development of personal and professional knowledge and competence through continuing medical education including maintaining board certification
