Job Title: Licensed Teacher. Pay Grade:
Licensed Compensation System. FLSA Status:
Exempt.

SUMMARY: Plan instruction aligned with district and state standards. Supervise students and maintain a positive learning environment. Adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach adopted curricula for assigned grades and subjects, modifying as necessary.
• Develop lesson plans and instruct using materials and media.
• Use formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning and report results.
• Model character education including citizenship and conflict resolution.
• Implement IEPs, 504 Plans, and behavior support plans, attending meetings as requested.
• Provide safety instruction for hazardous activities.
• Maintain a positive learning environment free from disruptive behavior.
• Maintain relationships with families and the school community.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Assure safety and welfare of students.
• Demonstrate prompt attendance.
• Submit required reports promptly.
• Protect School District property.
• Report suspected child abuse or neglect.
• Use District’s internet and E‑mail system as specified.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related subject from an accredited university.

EXPERIENCE

Experience preferred but may not be necessary.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS

Colorado Teaching License with appropriate endorsements; pass PLACE or PRAXIS II; meet CDE and ESSA requirements for In‑Field Teacher.
