Snowplow Driver​/Heavy Equipment Operator

Position: Snowplow Driver/ Heavy Equipment Operator
** Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
** Performs other duties as assigned
** Required Education, Specialized

Skills and Experience:

** Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks.

Ability to take written and verbal direction and act upon it accordingly Five (5) or more years of experience operating large snow removal equipment including plow trucks, sanders, front end loaders, backhoes, and skid steer loaders

Must have the ability to perform duties in and around regular traffic flow
** Preferred Education, Specialized

Skills and Experience:

** Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor vehicle and equipment problems One or more years experience working in an institutional setting

Basic computer experience related to reporting time worked and duties performed Ability to work in a team setting to accomplish goals

Ability to sit and drive for extended periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit, walk, kneel, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate vehicles, equipment and tools.
