Boys' Basketball Specialist, Miller Middle School

Durango School District is hiring a Boys' Basketball Specialist at Miller Middle School. This coaching position involves instructing middle school students (grades 7 and
8) in the fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training of basketball. The season runs October 2025 - December 2025.

• Knowledge of effective coaching practices/techniques of basketball
• Ability to build rapport with middle school students
• Ability to build individual and team character and confidence
• Ability to relate to students of varying athletic abilities
• Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and exemplary manner at all times
• Ability to work positively with coaches, staff, and administration
• Ability to communicate effectively with student athletes and parents
