Overview
We are a four-clinic family business with locations in the 4 Corners area of Southwest Colorado and Northwest New Mexico (Durango and Cortez, CO and Aztec and Farmington, NM.) We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the practice by providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic outpatient clinic setting.

This position requires strong clinical skills, a commitment to providing an excellent patient experience, and the ability to work collaboratively and collegially with all staff and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and best practices.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, interpret lab results and wet read X-rays, and manage patient care independently
• Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their diagnosis and treatment.
• Document all patient interactions accurately using ICD-10 coding systems.
• Provide an exceptional patient experience with superior communication and customer service skills
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence based diagnosis and treatment protocols relevant to patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Qualifications

• Master?s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• 1+ years experience in emergency or acute care medicine preferred
• Proficient understanding of ICD-10 coding systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on health-related topics.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.
• Treat all colleagues and staff with respect
• Flexibility to be available to work some weekends, some holidays and at any practice location where needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:
From $68.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 ? 40 per week
