Cottonwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is looking for a dedicated and experienced Dietary Director to lead our dietary department and help ensure our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a welcoming and enjoyable environment.

In this leadership role, you'll oversee daily dietary operations, support and develop your team, maintain regulatory and sanitation standards, and work closely with other departments to ensure our residents' nutritional needs and preferences are being met.

• Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, including meal planning, food preparation, service, and presentation
• Ensure meals and dietary services meet the individual nutritional needs of our residents
• Lead, supervise, and support dietary staff while promoting teamwork and exceptional service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, food safety requirements, and infection prevention standards
• Manage food and supply inventory while helping maintain appropriate department budgets
• Develop and maintain effective dietary policies and procedures
• Collaborate with nursing, social services, activities, and other departments to support comprehensive resident care
• Monitor resident satisfaction and respond to dietary concerns, preferences, and feedback
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve dietary services
• Train and mentor dietary team members to promote consistency, quality, and professionalism
• Help create a dining experience that is nutritious, enjoyable, and centered around our residents

• Experienced in food service, dietary services, or a similar leadership role
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Knowledgeable about food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
• A strong communicator and team leader
• Compassionate and resident-focused
• Detail-oriented and committed to quality
• Comfortable working collaboratively with nursing and other departments
• Passionate about creating a positive dining experience for residents
• Able to lead by example and foster a positive team environment
