License: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Certifications: BLS (AHA)

Must-Have:

Experience with sterile compounding and hospital pharmacy operations

Description:

Hiring process includes profile review and interview with the unit manager.

Technicians will work a variety of 10-hour shifts and every other weekend.

Common duties include Pyxis deliveries, handling outdates, and inventory management.

Technicians will perform crash cart checks and refills, phone triage, and respond to medication messages.

Experience with sterile compounding in a hospital setting is required.

Flexible and friendly individuals who are hard-working are preferred.

No on-call requirement is needed for this position.

The medication dispensing system utilizes an electronic health record and Pyxis.

Client laundered scrubs will be provided.

General department orientation will be provided.

The hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment.

The candidate must be available for holiday coverage as assigned.
