This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Director located in Durango, CO. The HR Director will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including developing and enforcing HR policies, managing employee relations, overseeing performance management processes, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws. This individual will collaborate with leadership to cultivate a positive workplace culture and provide strategic support for organizational success.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge and experience in Human Resources (HR), including talent management and workforce planning
- Ability to develop, implement, and enforce HR Policies and procedures
- Proficiency in managing Employee Relations, team building, and conflict resolution
- Expertise in overseeing Performance Management initiatives to drive employee growth and organizational goals
- Comprehensive understanding of Labor and Employment Law to ensure legal compliance
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a human resources department
