Overview
The Outdoor Guest Services Associate seeks to provide excellent guest service in the main outdoor areas of the resort. They will provide information, directions, and assistance with parking to ensure the orderly arrival and departure of guests. They will maintain the safety, cleanliness, and snow removal of the resort's grounds, including parking areas, walkways, stairs, and common areas. They will scan tickets at the main lifts, ensure all guests have valid tickets or season passes, and help with maze control to facilitate smooth guest movement and maximized chair loading, all while maintaining excellent guest relations.
This position will rotate through all areas of their role throughout the day, making it a fun, fast-paced, constantly changing shift. - Scan and verify lift tickets/passes, reporting any invalid passes and understanding all ticket types.
- Organize guests at lifts to ensure max capacity loading of chairs, using clear communication.
- Direct traffic and parking safely and effectively.
- Remove snow and ice from public areas for safety and maintenance.
- Sand and salt public access roads and walkways as needed.
- Parking enforcement.
- Assist with jump-starting vehicles and assisting stuck vehicles.
- Foster team unity, emphasizing professionalism, safety, customer service, and appearance standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly work area, monitoring surroundings for unsafe conditions.
- Familiarize with resort information, transportation schedules, and on-call procedures.
- Conduct duties responsibly to avoid damage to property and the environment, ensuring the safety of self and others.
- Complete incident reports accurately and maintain communication with superiors, co-workers, and first responders.
- Use proper telephone and radio procedures.

- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Knowledge of resort procedures, policies, and safety protocols.
- Ability to monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Familiarity with lift operations and ticket/pass verification.
- Strong logistics aptitude for managing guest flow and parking.
- Ability to handle emergency situations and complete incident reports accurately.
- Knowledge of snow and ice removal techniques.
- Ability to work outdoors 100% of the work day in changing winter weather conditions.
No formal education is required. Must have reliable phone or internet connection for virtual interviews. Must possess an open mind and willingness to adapt. Previous guest service experience strongly preferred. Previous Ski Resort experience is preferred but not required. Must have a valid CO driver s license and pass a Motor Vehicle Report. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
WorkingEnvironment/Physical Activities
The vast majority of the day is spent outdoors in constantly changing winter weather conditions. 70% of the day is spent standing, 30% of the day is spent walking. Lifting, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 100 pounds, with occasional carrying of objects up to 50 pounds. Exposure to dust, car exhaust fumes, odors, and gasses. Occasional exposure to noise levels ranging from 75 to 100 decibels.
Occasional exposure to mechanical and electrical hazards. This is a non skiing position.
This is a seasonal position from 11/16/25 to 4/30/26. Dates are subject to change based on the availability of the applicant and needs of the business. This role comes with a free season pass for you and your dependents.
