Durango Mountain Club Server (Seasonal)
Location:
Durango, CO
Compensation: $45,764.00-$66,358.00
Season:
November 2025 through April 2026 (dates subject to change based on applicant availability and needs of the business). This role includes a free season pass for you and your dependents.
Hiring for our seasonal positions occurs on a rolling basis. This position will remain open until filled.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Greet guests as they arrive and make them feel welcome.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and input them into the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.
- Clear tables promptly as patrons leave to keep the dining area inviting for incoming guests.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Upsell additional items such as appetizers, desserts, or drinks to enhance the guest experience.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in serving required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of basic food and beverage service procedures.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic cocktail knowledge.
- Ensure each customer receives an immediate greeting when they arrive, no matter how busy you are.
- POS (Point of Sale) System: used to input orders, process payments, and manage transactions.
- Cleaning Supplies: cloths, spray bottles, and sanitizing solutions to clean tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
- Wine Openers and Corkscrews: used to open bottles of wine.
- Fast‑Paced Atmosphere: work efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team
Collaboration:
collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and other servers. - Customer Interaction: take orders, answer questions, and address concerns or special requests.
- Variable
Hours:
shifts vary in length and timing, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Standing and Walking: servers spend much of their shift on their feet.
- Lifting and Carrying: servers lift and carry trays of food, trays of drinks, kegs, and other items.
