Customer Service​/Sales

Overview

The Home Depot is hiring for Customer Service/Sales associates. Base pay range: $16.50/hr - $19.50/hr applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

• Provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance.
• Learn about products using company tools and provide information to customers to help sell an entire project.
• Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in the department and understand basics in adjacent departments.
• Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensure the area is clean, shop-able, and safe.
• Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following safety policies and standards, completing safety training, correcting hazards or reporting them to the Manager on Duty, and working safely with coworkers, vendors, and customers.
• Work with Department Supervisors and other department associates; responsibilities may span multiple store departments (e.g., Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, Tool Rental).

• Job types:
  Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, Customer Order Specialist.
• Departments may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing and Tool Rental.
