Assistant Chief Pilot - DEN

Alpine Air is currently seeking a part‑time Aircraft Loader to be located at their Durango, Colorado company site. The Aircraft Loader will be responsible for loading and unloading cargo into and out of cargo planes. Work schedule depends upon aircraft arrivals and departures, but the Aircraft Loader will typically work for a few hours each morning. Work is performed outside, in all weather conditions.

The selected applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

• Transferring cargo from vehicles to cargo planes
• Observe safety and FAA regulations
• Practicing safe lifting methods
• Assisting Ramp Agents in aircraft preparation as needed

• Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds to shoulder height
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Be available for flexible schedule depending on aircraft arrivals, day of the work, and cargo load
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Required to pass background check and pre‑employment drug screen
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, and heat. Work for this position is performed outside, regardless of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

This position is a Part‑Time position. Typical work schedule includes 1–2 hours early morning each weekday. Compensation for this position includes $50/day and 401(k) employer match. All associated compensation and benefits are available immediately upon employment.
