This position is responsible for providing for analysis and for monitoring the financial condition and credit worthiness of individuals and businesses applying for credit by using historical financial analysis and cash flow projections. These duties will support the bank’s Commercial Loan Officers in the loan underwriting and loan presentation process. This position reports to the Senior Credit Officer and CEO.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Work with the bank’s lending personnel in gathering and analyzing all required information from existing Borrowers and Prospects.
- Prepare Credit Memorandums.
- Analyze credit worthiness of prospects by gathering credit and industry information.
- Spread and analyze financial statements, incorporating the use of credit analysis tools.
- Prepare credit approval documentation including underwriting, risk rating and profitability analysis.
- Develop financial projections to determine repayment.
- Help Loan Officers in monitoring loan maturities and preparing the necessary underwriting documentation for the renewal of such credits.
- Oversees and manages financial information files to assure current reports, statements, accounts receivable and other information on customer accounts, and notifies Loan Officers of any potential problems in a timely manner.
- Other job related assignments as assigned.
- Displays and maintains a positive attitude toward bank, employees, and policy and procedures.
- Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis.

Education and Work Experience- College Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.

- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Display knowledge of standard banking equipment and personal computer.
