The Grounds Lead is a working position responsible for the direction and management of a crew and grounds maintenance of assigned properties. You must maintain the external appearance of the assigned facilities. You will report to the Grounds Supervisor.

PG 7 19.00 $/Hour | Full Time | 3rd Shift | 11:00PM-7:30AM | OFF Wednesday & Thursday

• You will lead grounds crew to ensure that standards of work are maintained at a high level, tasks are completed promptly.
• Ensure that the crew has the proper knowledge of their tasks and the equipment to do their job properly.
• Support inventory control and upkeep of assigned grounds equipment and supplies.
• Recommend revisions to enhance grounds programs.
• Deliver supplies and equipment to facilities.
• You will ensure adherence to safe work practices by grounds crew.
• Do Performance Management (Reviews, address sub-standard performance).
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

• Able to learn various technical/mechanical requirements of the job.
• Proficient in the operation and use of multiple lawn equipment such as lawnmowers, weed eaters, hedgers.
• Experienced in landscape crew management and direction.
• Perform all required work in landscaping which requires bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching in different weather conditions.
• Read and follow written or oral directions for tasks.
• Understand safety standards related to performance of the job.
• One (1) year prior Maintenance/Grounds experience.
