A dynamic, multi-brand organization based in Durban is seeking a smart, innovative Accountant with a strong can-do attitude to join their growing team. This in-office role reports directly to the Managing Director and offers exposure across multiple brands under one umbrella, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and ownership within their role.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform general accounting functions across multiple brands
- Manage debtors and creditors
- Process payroll accurately and timeously
- Work extensively on Xero accounting software
- Prepare financial reports and support management decision-making
- Liaise directly with the Managing Director on financial matters
- Ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and efficient processes
Skills Required:
- Qualification: BCom Degree
- Experience: 3–5 years’ accounting experience
- Software: Proven Xero experience (non-negotiable)
- Skills: Payroll, debtors, creditors, and general accounting
- Attributes: Smart, innovative, proactive, and solutions-driven, with a strong can-do attitude
- Ability to manage multiple brands within a single business structure
