Accounts Payable Clerk

HRExec Recruitment Specialists is excited to partner with a dynamic, entrepreneurial international supply chain and logistics company in the search for an experienced Accounts Controller
.

• Review open shipment files with Operations, maintain disbursement controls.
• Compile and analyse job management reports using Cargo Wise data.
• Identify potential write-offs, resolve queries, and recover losses where possible.
• Prepare journals for under- and over-recoveries, ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority.
• Produce and distribute monthly credit note reports.
• Support audit requirements and assist the debtors and creditors teams.
• Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the finance department.

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting.
• 2–3 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Logistics or freight forwarding industry experience is highly advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Cargo Wise experience will be a distinct advantage.
