Duties & Responsibilities- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, for internal reporting as well as external reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
- Provide financial analysis to support decision-making across departments.
- Participate in ERP and system improvement projects across departments.
- Assist Financial Manager to provide oversight to accounting departments
- Assist in ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Work closely with auditors during annual audits and assist with audit preparation.
- Review of accounting reconciliations and payments
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls.
- Collaborate with finance managers on strategic initiatives.
- Take on increasing responsibility for managing small projects and tasks as experience grows.
- Acts on any reasonable instruction given to you by management in relation to work related activities.
- Chartered Accountant (CA SA)
- 1 Years post-articles experience
- Strong academic background in Accounting/Finance.
- Advantageous if completed articles at a reputable audit firm (Big Four or mid-tier).
- Exposure to IFRS, tax, and audit processes.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel;
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
