Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting function
- Oversee creditors and key reconciliations
- Manage VAT and ensure tax and accounting compliance
- Drive cost control and identify profit improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with company and gaming board policies
- Prepare financial reports and support month-end processes
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Provide financial insight to operational teams and management
Experience and Skills:
- CA(SA) essential 1+ years' post-articles experience
- Strong VAT, tax and accounting knowledge
- Creditors experience
- Commercial and operational finance exposure
- Experience with audits and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting controls and compliance
- Analytical, commercially minded and detail-focused
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
