About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Lead Management Consultant with a specialization in Operations to join their thriving consultancy in Durban . In this senior capacity, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence for clients, optimizing their supply chains, manufacturing processes, and overall operational efficiency. You will lead engagement teams, manage client relationships at the executive level, and contribute significantly to the firm's thought leadership in operations management.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about transforming business operations and delivering tangible, sustainable results.
- Analyze clients' operational performance, identifying bottlenecks and developing strategies for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
- Lead the design and implementation of operational improvement projects, including process mapping, workflow optimization, and lean methodologies.
- Oversee the management of supply chains, logistics, and inventory management systems to enhance client operations.
- Develop and implement performance metrics and dashboards to track operational progress and success.
- Manage client engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and project profitability.
- MBA or Master's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in operational management or management consulting focused on operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in areas such as supply chain management, process optimization, and lean/six sigma.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex operational transformation projects.
- Strong negotiation and client management skills, with a history of building trusted advisor relationships.
