Junior Project Manager

Our client in Durban is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Junior Project Manager to join their growing team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an emerging professional to gain hands-on experience in managing diverse projects from initiation to completion. You will support senior project managers, learn best practices in project coordination, and contribute to the successful execution of key business initiatives.

This position requires active participation in an office-based setting, offering direct mentorship and real-time collaboration with colleagues.

• Assist senior project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate project activities, meetings, and ensure clear communication among team members.
• Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and report status updates.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure all records are up-to-date and accessible.
• Support the implementation of project management processes and tools.
• Participate in project meetings, taking minutes and documenting action items.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
• 0-3 years of experience in a project support or coordination role.
• Familiarity with project management principles and basic understanding of project life cycles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
