Senior Estimator; Geotechnical

Location: Durban, Kwa Zulu-Natal

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive tender submissions.
• Price geotechnical investigations, piling, lateral support and grouting projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and geotechnical reports.
• Compile Bills of Quantities and pricing schedules.
• Obtain and adjudicate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Conduct value engineering and cost planning.
• Identify commercial and technical risks.
• Support tender negotiations and project handovers.
• Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in civil engineering, construction or geotechnical projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• CCS estimating software experience will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Valid South African Driver’s Licence.
• Willingness to travel when required.
