Senior Travel Consultant - Luxury African Safaris (Inbound)A leading inbound travel company specialising in luxury African safari experiences is looking for an experienced Senior Travel Consultant to design and manage bespoke luxury itineraries to a range of African countries:
Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Namibia, Zambia
. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven travel professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Minimum Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in inbound luxury safari travel consulting
• Proven experience selling Botswana and Zimbabwe safari destinations
• Reliable transport
• Able to work in-office for a minimum of three days per week
• Strong understanding of the reservations process, including quoting, booking, invoicing and travel documentation
• Experience using Tourplan or a similar reservations system
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and client service skills
• Able to manage multiple bookings and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Manage the full reservations process from quotation through to final travel documentation
• Create personalised luxury safari itineraries tailored to client requirements
• Process bookings accurately and liaise with suppliers to secure confirmations
• Follow up on provisional bookings and ensure deadlines are met
• Coordinate special guest requests and ensure seamless travel arrangements
• Monitor deposits and payments while assisting with invoice queries where required
• Maintain accurate booking records and documentation
• Provide exceptional client support before and during travel
• Attend supplier training and stay up to date with destination knowledge
• Assist with general operational duties and elevate issues where necessary
