BIM Coordinator - Architecture

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proficient BIM Coordinator to enhance their architectural project delivery capabilities in Durban . This role is crucial for managing and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across projects, ensuring data integrity and efficient collaboration. You will support design and construction teams by establishing BIM standards, workflows, and providing technical guidance. The ideal candidate will be adept at leveraging BIM technology to optimize design coordination, clash detection, and information management.

• Develop and enforce BIM execution plans and project-specific BIM protocols.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably within an architectural context.
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, with a strong understanding of BIM principles.
• Familiarity with various BIM software platforms and data management strategies.
