Our client is actively seeking a warm and experienced Nursery School Teacher to join their vibrant educational setting in Durban . Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement creative and educational activities for children aged 2-4 years, focusing on sensory exploration and foundational learning.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and positive peer interactions.
- Assess and monitor each child's developmental progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to plan school events, parent workshops, and curriculum enhancements.
- Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including health, safety, and discipline guidelines.
- A relevant diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a nursery school or daycare.
- In-depth knowledge of child development milestones and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong classroom management techniques and a patient, nurturing demeanor.
- A clear criminal record and valid first-aid certification are required.
