Overview

Hire Resolves’ client is urgently seeking a Civil Engineer:
Roads to join their team in Durban.

Responsibilities:

Effective leadership and management of design, production of engineering design reports, traffic studies, preparation of construction procurement documents etc.

Management of delivery of projects from planning to close out.

Monthly reporting and cost control.

Training of Technical staff

Pavement Design of major routes and highways

Requirements:

PrEng.

Minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience in the consulting engineering environment in Transport Infrastructure, specifically in the fields of planning, pavement engineering, geometric design, stormwater drainage design, contract administration and supervision of roads contracts.

Experience in road rehabilitation design.

Proven track record in management of a design office.

Must be able to work independently and be able to interact with relevant stakeholders at management level.
