Overview

Position: Lead Engineer

Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer to join their team in Durban, Kwa Zulu-Natal. As the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects and the efficient operation of engineering processes.

Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and support as needed

Develop and implement engineering strategies to meet project goals and deadlines

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation

Conduct risk assessments and quality control to ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Analyse data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimisation

Provide technical expertise and guidance on engineering projects and initiatives

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering team

Strong project management skills with the ability to drive results and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Thorough knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and tools
