Job Description Here is what you will do
  • Deliver discipline involvement in projects and ensure effective delivery input of others.
  • Work on detailed and routine engineering assignments involving calculations, drawings, reports and technical specifications.
  • Undertake design development, design review, supervision, coordination and design documentation for data centre projects.
  • Guide junior engineers and independently perform all tasks necessary to complete design works.
  • Ensure Design Brief compliance, completeness and accuracy throughout all project phases.
  • Manage design coordination within Architecture and across all Cross-Discipline teams.
  • Plan, design and review the construction of physical structures with particular focus on data centre infrastructure requirements.
  • Develop and review data centre-specific designs including cooling systems, power distribution, cable management and infrastructure layouts in compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress against approved designs.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders and external consultants to understand project requirements and communicate design solutions effectively.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, specifications and construction drawings for data centre facilities.
  • Identify and assess design risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • BArch or BSc in Architecture.
  • Over 3 years experience as an Architect
  • Registered as a full Professional Architect (SACAP)
