ICT Technician

Ramsay Engineering would like to offer the opportunity to all employees who meet the requirements for the position that is available to apply.

This will include IT level support with the following technologies:

• Microsoft Windows 7,8 and 10/Microsoft Office/Syspro ERP/Basic Hardware Support (Printers, Scanners etc)
• CAD Package support and installation/Basic maintenance and repair of PC’s on-site
• Support with Manufacturing processes that have PC integration (PLC’s, Drivers, Raspberry PI etc)
• Basic Server level support and interface with the firm’s managed services suppliers (Hosting, Time and Attendance, PABX)
• Candidate must have own transport. You will be required to travel between sites and work after hours call outs

• Ensure ticket response time must be carried out efficiently within the allocated time frame.
• Implement effective countermeasures.
• Support with Manufacturing processes that have PC integration (PLC’s, Drivers, Raspberry PI etc.)
• Carry out and maintain projects as per agreed time frames
• Simplify tasks & system processes.
• Develop new processes where necessary.
• Support with problem solving activities.

• 5SEnsure 5S condition is sustained, improve & track activities planned according to the defined standards.
• Protection of the environment and prevention of pollution.
• Ensure that safety concerns are targeted during project and implementation phase to prevent occurrence during production.
• Protection of the environment and prevention of pollution.
• Dispose of waste in align with disposal waste policy.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.

• T support for CAD packages; technical Syspro ERP support, and Translation.
• General ICT support.
• Efficient maintenance and repair of hardware onsite.
• Maintain a 98% attendance.

• Responsible for own personal development in line with company strategy.

• Senior Certificate
• A+ & N+ Qualifications
• Microsoft Office 365 Qualification (advantageous)
• MCSE Qualification (advantageous)

• Office 365 Environment and MS Sharepoint (Advantageous)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to any situation to achieve target milestones.
