Mechatronics​/Technical Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechatronics Engineering or a related technical field, with knowledge of mechanical systems, electronics and software/technology
. The successful candidate will be trained to understand and operate the company's specialised footwear manufacturing machinery and will progressively take on greater responsibility for technology implementation, process improvement and innovation.

• Learn and develop a strong understanding of footwear manufacturing machinery and production processes.
• Provide technical support across mechanical, electronic and software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machinery and technical issues.
• Work closely with production teams to improve machine performance and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to introduce new technologies and automation.
• Assist with the implementation and integration of new equipment and technologies.
• Support continuous improvement and process optimisation.
• Liaise with equipment suppliers and technical service providers.
• Assist with machinery upgrades and technology projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and procedures.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related technical field.
• Understanding of mechanical, electronic and software systems.
• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good computer literacy.
• Hands-on and practical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Footwear machinery experience is not essential – full training will be provided.
