About the Role
Our client seeks a dedicated Civil Engineer specializing in water and sanitation projects to join their team in Durban. You will play a key role in the design, planning, and implementation of essential water supply and wastewater treatment infrastructure. Key Responsibilities- Design and develop water distribution networks, sewage systems, and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis for water and sanitation systems.
- Prepare design reports, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Oversee the construction phase, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to ensure project compliance.
- Perform site investigations and condition assessments of existing infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and sanitation engineering.
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration or significant progress towards it.
- Proficiency in relevant design software, including hydraulic modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure and environmental regulations.
