Mechanical Engineer - Energy Systems Development

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems for energy generation and storage technologies.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software such as Solid Works, ensuring manufacturability and performance.
• Conduct thorough engineering analysis, including thermal management, stress analysis, and vibration studies, to validate design integrity.
• Oversee the fabrication and assembly of prototypes, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Plan and execute rigorous testing procedures for mechanical components and systems, analyzing results and implementing design improvements.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, material scientists, and project managers to ensure cohesive system development.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate design progress and findings.
• Support the scale‑up of designs from prototype to pilot production and full‑scale manufacturing.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably within the energy sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works preferred) and experience with PDM/PLM systems.
• Solid understanding of engineering analysis techniques (FEA, thermal analysis).
• Experience with renewable energy technologies (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage) is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of materials science and selection for various operating environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, hands‑on environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, and injection molding.
