• Design and develop vehicle body structures, closures, and chassis components using CAD software.
• Perform structural analysis (FEA) to evaluate stiffness, durability, crash worthiness, and NVH characteristics.
• Optimize designs for weight reduction, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with styling and packaging teams to integrate structural requirements with aesthetic and functional goals.
• Develop and oversee physical testing of prototypes, including static and dynamic load testing.
• Work closely with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are suitable for mass production.
• Analyze test results and simulation data to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay current with automotive industry trends, material advancements, and regulatory changes affecting vehicle structures.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within the team.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline;
  Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in automotive body and chassis design and development.
• Proven expertise in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Solid Works) and FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, suspension design, and steering systems.
• Knowledge of automotive materials, including steel, aluminum, and composites, and their manufacturing processes.
• Experience with vehicle safety regulations and crash testing standards (e.g., Euro NCAP, NHTSA).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
