Senior Telecoms Systems Engineer

• Design and architect robust and scalable telecommunications systems, including core network elements, transport, and access layers.
• Evaluate and select appropriate hardware and software technologies to meet system requirements.
• Develop detailed system specifications, integration plans, and testing procedures.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex system issues, ensuring rapid and effective resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and product management, to ensure successful system deployment and performance.
• Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies.
• Stay updated with the latest telecommunications technologies, standards, and industry best practices.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including design diagrams and operational procedures.
• Participate in vendor evaluations and manage relationships with technology partners.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in telecommunications systems engineering, design, and deployment.
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications network architectures (e.g., IP networking, MPLS, DWDM, 5G Core).
• Experience with system integration, performance analysis, and capacity planning.
• Strong understanding of relevant protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, SIP, SS7, LTE, 5G ).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership capabilities.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and virtualization technologies is advantageous.
