• Lead the design and development of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, water, and wastewater systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.
• Manage project life cycles from conception through to construction and commissioning.
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on projects.
• Liaise with clients, government authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ensure all designs comply with national and local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation effectively.
• Perform quality control and assurance on engineering deliverables.
• Contribute to the company's technical expertise and business development efforts.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng.) registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure design and project management.
• Proven experience with municipal infrastructure projects (roads, water, sewer, stormwater).
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and relevant hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, SWMM).
• Strong understanding of South African national and municipal standards and regulations.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple project priorities.
• Experience in tender preparation and contract administration.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Kwa Zulu-Natal
