About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Sports Event Planner to join their team, operating on a hybrid model. You will be instrumental in conceptualizing, organizing, and executing a variety of sporting events, from local competitions to larger tournaments. This role demands strong project management skills, an ability to manage budgets, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for athletes and spectators alike.

You will work closely with sponsors, vendors, and volunteers to ensure the successful delivery of events, blending remote planning with on-site coordination as needed.

• Plan and execute all logistical aspects of sports events, including venue selection, vendor management, and participant registration.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
• Coordinate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and engage attendees.
• Oversee on-site event operations, including setup, staffing, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, and community partners.
