Event Producer - Events

Our client is searching for a meticulous and visionary Event Producer to spearhead the planning and execution of diverse live events within the Arts & Entertainment sector in Durban . This role involves managing all facets of event production, from initial concept development and budgeting to on-site coordination and post-event analysis. You will be responsible for delivering memorable and impactful experiences that align with the company's strategic objectives and brand vision.

Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, creative problem-solving, and a proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of live events, including venue selection, vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget adherence.
• Develop creative concepts and themes for events that align with brand messaging and audience expectations.
• Manage on-site logistics, including setup, technical production (sound, lighting, staging), and staffing.
• Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to ensure successful promotion and attendee engagement.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and report on key metrics.

• Proven experience as an Event Producer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successfully managed live events.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and oversee complex project timelines.
• Exceptional organizational, logistical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in event management software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and stakeholders effectively.
