About the Role
Our client is looking for an accomplished Portfolio Manager to lead and manage investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients in Durban . This role involves developing investment strategies, conducting market research, and making informed investment decisions to achieve optimal risk-adjusted returns. You will be responsible for client relationship management, ensuring client satisfaction, and adhering to strict ethical and regulatory standards.
This is a key position within the investment management division, offering significant responsibility and the opportunity to impact client financial success.
- Develop and implement tailored investment strategies based on client objectives and risk tolerance.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternatives.
- Monitor portfolio performance, rebalance positions, and make necessary adjustments to meet investment goals.
- Provide regular performance reports and investment commentary to clients.
- Manage client relationships, address inquiries, and build trust through transparent communication.
- Stay informed about macroeconomic trends, market developments, and regulatory changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or CFA charter preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in portfolio management or investment advisory roles.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills.

- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards.
