Responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd line support and installation of network switches, routers, hosted IP telephony systems, and other CPE equipment at customer sites.Install, configure, and support Cisco and Huawei customer equipment and Ascidian NID devices.Rack and stack equipment in VB POPs.Provide solution and product-specific consultation and support.Configure and set up networking devices for deployment on the Vodacom Network.Ensure devices are configured correctly for deployment and are ready for shipment in time for scheduled deployment.Manage regional support stock levels.Attend and advise on solution scoping meetings.Design and deploy Cisco switch configurations.Requirements:
Strong telephony device experience.Good technical knowledge of LAN and WAN infrastructure.Excellent in-depth network knowledge.Understanding of SD-WAN solutions.Good understanding of wireless solutions.N+ and A+ certifications.CCNA or equivalent.HCNA.HCNP (preferable).CCNP (preferable).Exceptional team management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication.Ability to delegate efficiently.Extensive industry knowledge with a forward-looking perspective.Strong people skills.Strategic thinking.Effective listening.Benefits:
