IT GRC Analyst

Overview

This role will support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of IT General Controls across multiple IT applications and platforms, while also playing a key role in maintaining the organisation’s ISO 27001:2022 certification. Reporting to the Head of IT GRC, the role will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective governance, risk management, and compliance practices across the IT environment.

• Support the development, maintenance, and enforcement of IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assist with IT audits, management reporting, and governance forums.
• Implementation and monitoring of IT General controls across various applications.
• Conduct risk assessments and control reviews.
• Identify, assess, and monitor IT and information security risks.
• Maintain IT risk registers and track remediation activities.
• Review crisis management, business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001:2022, NIST, ITGC).
• Coordinate internal and external audits and track findings to closure.
• Support evidence collection and documentation for compliance reviews.
• Conduct IT GRC Continuous monitoring reviews to identify non-compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of control requirements for compliance certifications and audits.
• Coordinate Information Security Awareness Program initiatives and preparation of measurement reports.
• Assist in the preparation of Information Risk, Security, Governance and Compliance reports for presentations to executive members.
• Provide support to business units by providing guidance on control implementations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related IT qualification.
• Working towards CISA, CISM or ISO 27001:2022, CRISC or similar certifications will be advantageous.

• At least 3+ years working experience in IT Audit, Information Security, Governance, Risk and/or Compliance roles.
• Experience in conducting ISO 27001:2022 related activities.
• Experience with risk assessments, audits, and compliance reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST.
• Willing to travel – Local and International Travel may be required.
