Position: Junior IT Technician |

Our client is a dynamic and growing IT services provider specializing in comprehensive technical support and infrastructure management. They are currently seeking an energetic, driven Junior to Mid-Level IT Support Technician to join their team and assist in supporting their expanding portfolio of retail and healthcare clients.

Requirements
  • Education:

    A completed Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    1–4 years of proven experience in an IT Technical Support, Desktop Support, or Field Technician role.
  • Direct, hands-on experience working with POS (Point of Sale) Software is essential.
  • Previous experience with Pharmacy management software is highly advantageous.
  • Licensing & Transport:
  • Must possess a valid, clean driver’s license.
  • Must own a reliable personal vehicle (essential for regular travel to various client sites).
Responsibilities
  • On-Site & Remote Support:
    Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for clients.
  • System Installation & Maintenance:
    Installing, configuring, and updating specialized POS systems and pharmacy software applications.
  • Hardware Maintenance:
    Setting up and maintaining desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and retail peripherals (e.g., receipt printers, barcode scanners, card terminals).
  • Network Administration:
    Assisting with the basic setup and troubleshooting of local networks (LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches).
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Serving as a professional, polite, and helpful representative of our client during site visits, ensuring minimal downtime for businesses.
  • Documentation:
    Maintaining accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and client site configurations.
