Our client is seeking a highly experienced IT Executive to lead and drive enterprise IT strategy within a fast‑paced retail environment based in Durban/Newlands East. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong technical expertise and the ability to operate effectively under pressure in an onsite setting.
Key Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 7–10 years’ IT leadership experience, preferably in QSR or retail
- Strong experience with POS systems and retail technology environments
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, cybersecurity, and risk management
- Experience with APIs, mobile applications, and system integrations
- Proficiency in SQL/No
SQL databases and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) - Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Valid driver’s licence
