About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Information Security Consultant to provide expert advisory services for their operations in Durban . This is an on-site role requiring your presence at their facilities to deliver strategic security guidance and implement solutions. You will assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and advise on best practices to protect sensitive company data and systems. This role demands a high level of expertise, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business recommendations.

• Conduct in-depth security assessments, including risk analysis, threat modeling, and compliance reviews.
• Develop tailored security strategies and roadmaps for clients based on their specific needs and industry regulations.
• Advise on the implementation of security controls and technologies to protect against cyber threats.
• Assist clients in developing and refining their incident response plans and business continuity strategies.
• Deliver training and awareness programs to client personnel on security best practices.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and technical teams.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in information security consulting or a similar advisory role.
• Deep understanding of various security domains: network security, application security, data privacy, and cloud security.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex security projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CRISC) are essential.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
