The Information Technology Officer will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, applications, networks, hardware, and cybersecurity environment. The role will ensure the availability, reliability, security, and efficient performance of IT services while providing timely technical support to users across the organization. The successful candidate will oversee IT operations, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, manage system upgrades and backups, monitor network performance, maintain IT assets, and implement appropriate security controls and technology solutions in line with organizational requirements.
The ideal candidate should have 5–10 years of progressive experience in information technology
, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network administration, systems management, cybersecurity, data protection, and technical support. A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required, with relevant professional certifications being an added advantage. The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and provide effective technical guidance to staff and management.
