Our client seeks a forward-thinking Educational Technology Specialist to drive the integration and effective use of technology in education within their vibrant campus in Durban . You will be responsible for supporting faculty and students in leveraging digital tools and platforms to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, pedagogical understanding, and excellent communication skills to facilitate the adoption of educational technology solutions.

- Provide technical support and training to educators and students on various educational technology tools and platforms.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new educational technologies to enhance the learning environment.
- Develop and deliver workshops and resources on effective uses of technology in the classroom.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to educational software, hardware, and online learning platforms.
- Collaborate with IT departments and academic staff to ensure seamless integration of technology.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in educational technology and propose innovative solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an educational technology support or integration role.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle or Canvas, and various ed-tech tools.
- Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and how technology can support them.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
