DevOps Engineer - Infrastructure Automation

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Dev Ops Engineer to enhance their IT infrastructure and deployment processes in Durban . This role is integral to building and maintaining a scalable, reliable, and efficient cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate processes, improve system performance, and ensure the highest levels of availability for our client's services.

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment and testing.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Implement and manage containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes .
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline the build, release, and operational support processes.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a Dev Ops or Systems Engineering role.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Power Shell) and experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
