Our client seeks a dynamic and organized Project Manager specializing in IT projects to join their team in Durban . This hybrid role offers the opportunity to manage critical technology initiatives, working closely with both in-office and remote team members. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects , from software development to infrastructure upgrades.
- Coordinate activities between on-site and remote project team members, ensuring seamless workflow and communication.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against these metrics.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing timely mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, stakeholder updates, and status reporting.
- Ensure project deliverables meet required quality standards and stakeholder satisfaction.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management .
- Proven experience managing projects involving software development, system integration, or IT infrastructure deployment.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong understanding of IT concepts and technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, adaptable to a hybrid work environment .
- Relevant degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, ITIL) is advantageous.
