Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Multimodal Controller to oversee and manage complex import and export operations across sea, air, and road freight. This senior role requires strong leadership, advanced operational knowledge, and the ability to deliver seamless logistics solutions while mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with proven multimodal expertise.
Advanced A‑to‑Z process knowledge across airfreight, sea freight, and road freight.
Extensive experience working on Cargo Wise (essential).
Strong financial understanding of Cargo Wise and operational costing.
Proven ability to manage high‑volume, complex shipments with accuracy.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills.
Strong administrative, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in deadline‑driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate multimodal import and export shipments end‑to‑end.
Manage and review shipment files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Liaise with agents, clients, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and service providers at senior level.
Monitor shipment progress, proactively resolving operational challenges.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and within strict deadlines.
Provide advanced support and solutions for client queries and escalations.
Mentor, train, and support junior controllers and operational staff.
Maintain compliance with internal procedures, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Contribute to process improvement, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
