Job Purpose

To ensure the correct number of products and pallets are loaded and off loaded from the vehicle onto or from a client as per planned delivery route.

Key Responsibilities

The core functions define the key areas of responsibility for this role, reflecting the accountabilities and expected outputs outlined in the competency-based profile. These are the primary activities through which the role delivers value to the business.

· Check company products as per loading sheet and sign

· Adhering to standard departure times

· Take responsibility for vehicle safety and hygiene

· Collection of pallets

· Offloading of product at customers

· Report all accidents immediately to the transport department and Warehouse Manager

Experience and Qualifications

To perform effectively in this role, the following minimum qualifications and work experience are required:

· Matric

· 2–3 years' experience in sales delivery

· Code 10 license is desirable

Skills and Competencies

· Good people management skills

· Relationship building skills

· Basic computer skills

· Ability to communicate at all levels

· Self-motivated and responsible

Working Conditions

· Availability for excessive working hours, including weekends and shifts, as required by the role

· Required to work a 6-day week which will include public holidays and Sundays

· Ability to work in environments exposed to noise and warm temperatures.

· Ability to work in a pressurized environment

· Own transportation to commute to work locations or travel as necessary
